Meghana explained concepts about "Acrylics", that acrylic is a fast drying paint containing pigment suspension in acrylic polymer emulsion. Acrylics can be diluted with water or thinners , depending on the consistency of paint , the painting can be made to look similar to oil or water painting. Not more than 30% of thinner is used.

Meghana demonstrated the used of acrylic paint on canvas.

Meghana is an engineer by qualification drawn to art from a very young age . She started with pencil sketching at a camp in her cousin's garage. She was so fascinated by art and she has never stopped sketching ever since , she has built expertize in acrylic and oil mediums as well .

Meghana's paintings are on display and sale at Cafe Ambroisie , Koramangala 5th block , Bangalore

The history of portraits is more than 26,000 years old . Portraits basically are the perfect representations of an individual that includes anatomy, facial expressions, body language , mood of the person etc. Do you agree that God's best landscape has been the human face? Each face is so very different from the other.

One could see portraits of most kings & queens in galleries. Most of us fantasize  having our own portrait made !!!!

Mastering the art of making portraits requires dedicated practice of many years and highly polished skills. 

Amit Srivastava among his many other skills has mastered the art of capturing the portraits. His work will be on display and sale at Cafe Ambroisie , Koramangala 5th block , Bangalore from 16th oct 2015 to 29th oct 2015.

Inauguration of art show by Priyaranjan Behera at Cafe Ambroisie koramangala , Bangalore












The first art show at Cafe Ambroisie , Koramangala , Bangalore by Priyaranjan Behera was inaugurated by Dr. Gyanesh Mishra, an eminent artist and Udayan Aparajeet , Kannada film actor.


Horses in various moods which form the theme of this exhibition adorn the walls of Cafe Ambroisie.

The paintings are mostly acrylic on canvas and depict horses in various forms.The speciality of the artist lies also in his signature , he leaves a barcode representation on each painting to leave his mark.


The paintings are on display till 15th oct 2015.

There will be a demo by the artist on the 4th and 11th oct (sundays) from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

Entry to the exhibition and demo is free.
