Entrée’ or starters at Café Ambroisie –Koramangala, Bangalore
Traditionally, Food was brought into the dining room from
the kitchen or the food’s entry into the dining room was typically Entrée’ in
French. This is the food that is served before the main course. The entrée is
called ‘Starter’ by British and ‘Appetizer’ by Americans.
A full course meal generally begins with soup, starters,
main course and a dessert or cheese.
